Laid OFF January 16, 2009

I am out of work now. When I say it like that, it sounds like there is none left. I’m out of it! The way I’m out of bananas right now. And I guess it is true. My company was out of work for me to do so now I am looking for a good new job. In some ways it’s kind of nice. In others, not so much. I’m thinking mostly in the monetary sense. We need more money. I also need to be more productive during the day. Productive without spending money. I’m thinking I should do more family history. Or familysearch indexing (you can do it too at www.familysearchindexing.org). Or volunteer somewhere. I am effected by the recession!–and politics. What a crazy idea. So I guess I could blog more. I want to be a deep thinker blogger rather than a reactionary blogger, and that takes more effort which I think is why I don’t blog too often. But what better time to be a deep thinker than when I don’t have a job?
